A Quick Look at the Complete Audi e-tron Lineup
For the last several years, the folks at Audi have been busy building a portfolio of the best luxury EVs money can buy. Now that we’re heading into the 2025 model year, there are more electrified Audis to choose from than ever before.
If you’ve got your heart set on an Audi EV but you don’t know which is right for you, check out our rundown of available models.
Audi e-tron GT
The e-tron GT stands out as the only electric sedan of the bunch, and it shares much of its DNA with other performance cars from Audi and Porche—it may be green, but it’s also pretty darn mean.
The electric powertrain consists of two electric motors and a 93-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery, and this system packs a serious punch. With boost mode engaged, it’s capable of reaching 523 horsepower, which grants it a top speed of 152 MPH and a 0 to 60 time under 4 seconds.
It also boasts a respectable 249 miles of estimated range and a blindingly fast charging time of 5% to 80% battery in about 22 minutes.
All models come with quattro AWD thanks to the dual motors at both axles, giving the e-tron GT a sure-footed and responsive feel. Other features that enhance the driving experience include launch control, available e-torque vectoring, and available all-wheel steering.
For those with a deep and abiding need for speed, the Audi RS e-tron GT is also available. This model cranks the power up to 637 horsepower, allowing for a 0 to 60 run in just 3.1 seconds.
Audi Q4 e-tron
The Q4 e-tron exists in the crowded realm of compact SUVs, and it sets itself apart from the pack by providing a uniquely smooth and athletic ride.
It’s available in two different powertrain configurations (there was a third, but it was replaced halfway through 2024). The base-level Q4 40 e-tron has a single electric motor at the rear axle, and it has a total range of 265 miles and puts out 201 horsepower. Shoppers who want a little more oomph can spring for the Q4 55 e-tron, which comes with Quattro AWD and two electric motors that impart a respectable 335 horsies while only decreasing range by about 7 miles.
The revised battery architecture introduced in the 2024 model year also improved charging time—it can now go from 10% to 80% charged in less than half an hour.
The Q4 e-tron is available in two different body styles: a classic SUV and a Sportback variety. The Q4 e-tron Sportback’s revised rear end gives it a sleeker profile and increases the maximum cargo volume to 54.4 cubic feet.
Regardless of which body style or electric motor setup you choose, the Q4 e-tron is packed to the roof with killer amenities. It’s the first Audi model to feature an available augmented reality head-up display, and the 2024 model also comes with standard adaptive cruise assist with lane guidance.
Audi Q6 e-tron
The newest in the Audi EV lineup, the Q6 e-tron makes its debut for the 2025 model year, and it stands as the company’s answer to shoppers looking for an electric SUV with the most interior space.
It contains a full 60 cubic feet of storage capacity with the rear seats folded, providing ample space for both seating and cargo. It’s also stacked to the nines with the latest in comfort and safety features. The Virtual Cockpit and center MMI touchscreen display are both integrated into a seamless panoramic panel, providing a crisp and responsive interface for drivers to operate infotainment features. Buyers can also add a passenger touchscreen display, as well as the available AR head-up display.
The Q6 e-tron has the best range of any Audi EV, too. All Q6 e-tron models come with a dual electric motor setup, which is rated for 307 miles of range and speeds of 10% to 80% state of charge in about 21 minutes.
Of course, it wouldn’t be an Audi if they didn’t offer a souped-up performance version—the SQ6 e-tron comes with a beefed-up electric architecture that makes 483 horsepower during normal driving, and up to 509 horsepower with launch control, allowing this midsize SUV to achieve 60 MPH from a dead stop in 4.1 seconds.
Audi Q8 e-tron
First introduced for the 2019 model year, the Q8 e-tron (formerly just the e-tron) is Audi’s flagship all-electric vehicle, so it only makes sense that it’d have the most available options.
Like the Q4 e-tron, the base model it’s available in standard and sportback body styles, and the more powerful SQ8 e-tron can be optioned as a Sportback as well, providing four different variations for buyers to choose from.
The regular Q4 e-tron gets the dual motor quattro AWD treatment as standard, and this system puts out 402 horsepower. It also has an estimated electric range of 285 miles, and like the other e-tron models, it has impressive 170-kilowatt charging times, allowing it to jump from 10% to 80% battery life in about half an hour.
Unique to the model, the SQ8 cranks things up even further by including three electric motors (one at the front axle and two at the rear), which puts out 496 horsepower and allows it to travel from 0 to 60 in 4.2 seconds. It also includes features like progressive steering and sport adaptive air suspension to keep drivers connected to the road.
The Q8 e-tron has also earned a distinction as one of the safest electric SUVs on the road today—not only does it have a stellar selection of driver assistance features, but the 2024 model was recognized by the IIHS on their Top Safety Pick list.
